Easynews respects each individual user's right to privacy. Easynews has created this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. This Privacy Statement discloses our information-gathering and dissemination practices for this website. This policy applies only to information that is collected through this website. It does not cover any information that may be collected by software downloaded from this site.

Information is collected, used, and stored in the following situations:

  • Registration: Name, credit card number, credit card expiration data, card validation value (CVV2), street address, and zip code are collected. The CVV2 value is discarded after the credit card transaction is completed and is never stored. The customer may optionally provide email address and a security question and answer pair, which will also be stored. The credit card transaction is processed through a third party that is governed by this Privacy Statement, acting on the behalf of Easynews, and is not authorized to use your information for any other purpose. Registration information will be kept on-file to support the registered account for the duration of the customer relationship with Easynews.
  • Live Chat Online Support: Email address is collected to facilitate a response. Live chat is hosted internally, and is thus not disclosed to third parties.
  • Cookies: To facilitate a meaningful experience, Easynews employs the use of cookies on the site. A cookie is a text file with a unique identifier set by a browser on a hard drive to recognize the user upon return visits. We use cookies for authentication purposes, in administering the site and in keeping track of marketing programs. Cookies are *not* required for use of the site and may thus be blocked by the customer in the browser.
  • Use Tracking: Easynews employs the use of a third party agent (Google Analytics) in tracking aggregated non-personal information about traffic patterns to our home page and sign-up page, not our member's page.   • IP Address: Easynews does not store, or link, IP addresses with collected account information. IP addresses are only collected and used for administrative purposes to ensure that the optimal operation of the site.
